Continuation of academic programme at the Faculty of Engineering from 20-6-2022

This is w.r.t. to the announcement by the Vice-Chancellor dated 17-6-2022, pertaining to the temporary discontinuation of the academic programmes with immediate effect and requesting students to leave university accommodation.

Accordingly, following are the decisions taken at the meeting of the Dean of Engineering and the Heads of Department held today.

For the E16 batch:
Continue remaining parts of academic work (S7) online.  Activities that can’t be done online like “missed practicals” are to be shifted to Semester #8.  To hold scheduled Semester #7 (for all except CO) and Semester #5 (for CO) exams and proceed with Industrial Training (for all except CO) and Semester #7 (for CO) as per the present faculty calendar.

For the E17 batch:
Continue dead week until the university reopens and have the exams as per the sequence given in the present faculty calendar (i.e. Semester #3 first and Semester #5 after that) immediately after reopening.

For the E18 batch:
Continue ongoing Industrial Training as it is.  Computer Engineering students to continue GE Semester online.

For the E19 batch:
BOSGPE is to be held in the coming week.  Continue Special Sessions for eligible students online as per the present faculty calendar.  The field selection process will be carried out online as usual.

For the E20 batch:
Give one week break from 20-6-2022 to 24-6-2022.  Consider starting online lectures for them from 27-6-2022.
